HORSEFORCE! is a very special record that we made (in one day) while mixing Don't Dance Rattlesnake in LA. "the label" wanted us to go to a studio and make acoustic versions of all the songs on the record. since we are not big fans of "boring", we instead decided to rearrange the songs and make completely different versions of them embracing the theory that 'a good song is a good song no matter how you arrange it'. we sped up some of the slow ones, slowed down some of the fast ones, changed the instruments up, and basically did whatever we wanted to mess with the arrangements and still do justice to the songs. Jake engineered and mixed it, and we like it just as much as the actual record. it includes alternate and country versions of 10 of the songs from DDR, plus one bonus track. saddle up!
